Baby Pink And Mint Green - The Perfect Spring Color Combo

עקב עומס חריג בלימודים ובעבודה יצא שכבר שבועיים לא פירסמתי פוסט, אפילו שהיו לי פוסטים מצולמים ומוכנים... פשוט לא היה לי זמן לבלוג, אפילו לא לכמה דקות :-/ אני מקווה שהתקופה העמוסה עברה ואני אחזור השקיע כאן בתדירות קצת יותר נורמאלית...

בכל מקרה, כמו שכתבתי בפוסט הקודם שלי, הפוסטים הקרובים יוקדשו כולם לנושא משותף, ויהיה בהם יותר ממניקור אחד. הנושא של היום הוא שילוב צבעים שאני ממש אוהבת בזמן האחרון - ורוד בייבי וירוק מנטה. באופן כללי אני חושבת שאתן יודעות שאני ממש אוהבת צבעי פסטל, במיוחד בעונה הזאת, אבל גם בעונות הקרות יותר. 

Due to an overwhelming work load I barely had time for any blogging over the past two weeks... I really hope I'll get more time over the next week so I could return to the blog full time.

As I said on my latest post, a few of my next posts are going to have a theme, and today's theme is a color combination that I've been loving lately - baby pink and mint green. Generally I think you know I really love pastels, especially during this time of the year, but also during the cold seasons.

Fun With Studs!

בזמן האחרון הצטברו לי בתיקיות המוני מניקורים שאני פשוט לא מספיקה לפרסם כאן, אז החלטתי לעשות ניסיון קטן ולאחד בפוסט אחד כמה עיצובים בעלי מכנה משותף.
הכנתי כמה פוסטים כאלה שיעלו בימים הקרובים ואני אשמח לשמוע מה דעתכן. אתן נהנות מפוסטים ארוכים שמשלבים כמה עיצובים או מעדיפות שכל עיצוב יזכה לפוסט משלו?

את שלושת העיצובים בפוסט הזה הכנתי בעזרת ניטים (studs) ולמרות שהם מאוד דומים, הם גם שונים מאוד ואני לא בטוחה איזה מהם יותר מוצא חן בעיניי. הפרטים המלאים ועוד תמונות אחרי הקפיצה...

I've recently gathered tons of unpublished designs and I never get around to posting them, so I decided to combine a few similar looks in one post. I've prepared several posts like this and I'd love to hear your opinion. Do you prefer it when I combine the looks or do you like it better when each look gets its own post?

The three designs in this post all have studs, and though they're really similar they are also very different and I don't know which I liked better.

Retro Skittle with Milani Retro Glam Collection

היום אני רוצה להראות לכן מניקור שחלמתי לעשות כבר הרבה זמן. אני כל כך אוהבת צבעי פסטל והקולקצייה המגניבה הזו של מילאני פשוט קראה בשמי מהרגע הראשון שראיתי אותה. בהזמנה האחרונה שלי מCherryColture קניתי שלושה צבעים: Almond Bliss - צהוב בהיר מאוד, Creamy Pistachio - ירוק פיסטוקי עדין, וSprinkles - גליטר שחור לבן מהמם. 

התחלתי עם Almond Bliss על כל הציפורניים. על חלק מהאצבעות הסתפקתי בשתי שכבות (עבות יחסית), ובחלק נאלצתי להוסיף שכבה שלישית לאטימות מוחלטת. למרות שהשתמשתי בהמון חומר, הייבוש היה יחסית מהיר. 

Today I have a manicure that I've had on my mind for a really long time. I absolutely love pastel colors and this pretty collection by Milani has been calling me ever since I first saw it. on my latest purchae from CherryColture I bought Almond Bliss - a pretty light creamy yellow, Creamy Pistachio - a beautiful muted pistachio green, and Sprinkles - an awesome black&white glitter. 

I started by applying Almond Bliss on all of my nails. Some nails only needed 2 (thick) coats, and some of them needed 3. Drying time was pretty fast even though I used a lot of product.

הוספתי נקודות עם Creamy Pistachio על שתי אצבעות, ועל שתי אצבעות נוספות הוספתי את הגליטר Sprinkles. לבסוף, השתמשתי בסלוטייפ דק (ניתן להשיג בוואו או ביוטיקר, וגם אונליין בגרושים), על יד ימין צבעתי פסים עם Lilachism של Essie, ועל יד שמאל הוספתי פסים ורודים עם Something Sweet של צ'יינה גלייז.
בלי שהתכוונתי יצא לי עיצוב רטרו-אי שמזכיר לי טפט משנות השבעים :)

I added polka dots using Creamy Pistachio on 2 nails, and Sprinkles on 2 other nails. Finally, I used striping tape and added China Glaze Something Sweet on my left hand, and Essie Lilachism on my right one.
I actually didn't plan it, but the design came out pretty retro-ish, reminding me a wallpaper from the seventies :)

31DC2013 - Day 18: Half Moons

Yesterday's challenge was submitted super late and today's challenge is being submitted super early because I know I won't have time to post it in the morning.

The base color for this look is 1 coat of OPI Haven't The Foggiest?* from the San-Francisco collection. On top of that I placed round stickers and added 1 thick coat of butter LONDON Lady Muck. A beautiful delicate color that I absolutely adore!

On my ring finger I added some striping tape and painted the half moon with the lighter color. This look is inspired by my talented friend Tal (@insta_tal). She created a similar look about a month ago.

31DC2013 - Day 12: Stripes

I went with a really simple design for today's challenge: 1 coat of Revlon Surf, followed by striping tape and 1 coat of L.A Girl Teal Dimension. Both polishes are a dark teal but in the pictures they look a little blue.

31DC2013 - Day 9: Rainbow Nails

So yesterday I said I hate metallic polishes, but boy was I quick to judge...  I thought I'd remove my metallic skittle manicure a few hours after applying it but I just fell in love with the design and didn't want to take it off!!! I guess if you wear it right, metallic polish is actually pretty cool :)

For today's manicure I went with the same colors from Kiko's Mirror Metallics collection as I did yesterday (619 Red Peony, 623 Blue, 625 emerald, 626 Lawn Green, 627 Lime Green). I painted random blobs of color on my nails and after they have dried I applied striping tape and painted my nails with 1 thick coat of Milani Black Swift. 

I loooove the result and I got lots of compliments on it today!

Butter LONDON Rosie Lee Meets Essie Sand Tropez

This design was inspired by 2 amazing looks (this one, and that one) created by the talented Camille from Pshiiit

I used 2 coats of Essie Sand Tropez and added 2 accent nails using 3 coats of Rosie Lee.

מרחתי 2 שכבות של Essie Sand Tropez וקישטתי שתי ציפורניים ב3 שכבות של Rosie Lee. 

  

An All Israeli Manicure (with a little Norwegian influence)

This design was inspired by one of my favorite nail bloggers - Sophie from My Awesome Beauty. She does some amazing things with striping tape, and I've created this design according to her cool tutorial :)

I've only used Local nail polish brands to create this look (base&topcoat excluded) 

First, I applied one thick coat of Ga-De Tender Grey and waited about 5 minuets until it was dry to the touch.

then, I added the first triangle using Life # 237 (opaque white cream) and striping tape.

after that I added a fast drying top coat, and about 3 minuets later I was ready to apply the second triangle, using Ga-De Military Style. this polish dries very quickly and only needs one coat for full opacity, so I didn't need to wait much longer before adding the final black triangle, using Chic Black Fog.

When I was all finished, it still felt like something was missing, probably because I went with a 'dull' color combo that sort of reminded me of a sad penguin :)

That's why I decided to add a colorful glitter topper, and of coarse I went with my new Glitter Bunny polish - I Got a Goodie Bag!

I've already shown you this polish in my previous post, but now I have it on all of my fingers and I'm absolutely loving it!

את הרעיון לעיצוב הזה קיבלתי מסופי, צלמת נורווגית מוכשרת ואחת הבלוגריות האהובות עליי. היא עושה דברים מדהימים ופשוטים, והעיצוב הזה נעשה בעקבות המדריך המצולם שלה.

כל הלקים שהשתמשתי בהם הפעם הם ממותגים ישראליים (לא כולל שכבת הבסיס והטופ).

התחלתי עם שכבה עבה של ג'ייד Tender Grey, חיכית בערך 5 דקות לייבוש ואז יצרתי את המשולש הראשון, עם לק לבן של לייף וסלוטייפ דק. 

מרחתי מייבש וחיכיתי כמה דקות, ולאחר מכן הוספתי את המשולש השני, עם ג'ייד Military Style. הלק הזה של ג'ייד מתייבש ממש מהר אם מורחים רק שכבה אחת שלו, אז לא הייתי צריכה לשים מייבש הפעם

חיכיתי דקות בודדות והוספתי את המשולש השחור, עם Chic Black Fog.

אחרי שסיימתי העיצוב נראה לי קצת לוקה בחסר... כנראה בגלל שבחרתי צבעים יחסים משעממים שהזכירו לי קצת פינגווין עצוב :)

כדי לשמח את הפינגווין העצוב שלי, הוספתי מעל הכל את הגליטר המדהים I Got a Goodie Bag!, שאותו הראיתי כבר בפוסט הקודם.
