Crazy Colurful Gradient VS. Subtle French Manicure

I started the week with this crazy gradient using Zoya Blaze&Aurora and L.A Girl Teal Dimention&Brilliant Blue, but the next day winter suddenly arrived! It was freezing cold and pouring rain all week long and I didn't like how the holgraphic polishes were too bright for my mood. 

התחלתי את השבוע עם הגרדיאנט המשוגע הזה שעשיתי בעזרת Zoya Blaze&Aurora ו L.A Girl Teal Dimention&Brilliant Blue, אבל ביום למחרת המריחה פתאום הגיע לכאן החורף! היה כל כך קר וגשום ופשוט לא התחשק לי להסתובב עם העיצוב הצבעוני הזה.

I wanted something much more gebtle so I went for a French Manicure. I had'nt done one in a really long time 'cause I don't usually like how it looks on long nails, but I was just in the mood so I went for it. I started with one coat of Ga-de Angelina, then freehanded the white line using BK matte white polish and a white striper, and tooped it off with 2 coats of Careline 366 and a clear topcoat.

רציתי משהו הרבה יותר עדין, אז הלכתי על פרנץ' מניקור. כבר שנים שלא עשיתי כזה, כי אני בד"כ לא אוהבת את המראה הזה על ציפורניים ארוכות, אבל הפעם פשוט התחשק לי אז הלכתי על זה. התחלתי עם שכבה אחת של Ga-de Angelina, הוספתי פס לבן בעזרת BK matte white וסטרייפר לבן וסיימתי בשתי שכבות של  Careline 366 וטופקואוט שקוף.

31DC2013 - Day 14: Flowers

 Today I went with a design that I usually paint over a french manicure, but today I felt like wearing it on it's own.

I started with 2 coats of Careline #366 (a very sheer pink with a jelly finish) and then dotted the flowers using 5 colors: Chic Black Fog #32 (black), Ga-de Lemon Lime #426 (yellow), WOW #303 (green), Essie Too Too Hot (red) and China Glaze Something Sweet (pink).

After I finished with the flowers I went back with 2 more cots of the sheer pink, and then applied my fast drying topcoat (Poshe).
