היייי! בפוסט הקודם הבטחתי סקירה של שני מותגי לקים ישראליים, ואני מתחילה עם המותג הראשון - הלא הוא מותג האינדי FedoraHarp של חברתי הבלוגרית ליאה.

מי שעוקבת אחרי הבלוג כבר הרבה זמן יודעת שליאה משחררת קולקציות לקים בהתאמה לחגי ישראל, והפעם הגיע תורם של חגי תשרי. בהמשך הפוסט תוכלו לראות סווצ'ים ולקרוא על שלושה מהלקים של הקולקציה המקסימה הזאת!

FedoraHarp - Purim Collection (Clowning Around + Masquerade)

תקופת המבחנים כמעט הסתיימה, אבל הלחץ ממש לא נגמר, כי עדיין ניצב בפניי האתגר הגדול מכולם - המבחן הכי קשה והכי מייגע של הסמסטר :(
אז כמו כל מכורה טובה, אני מוצאת קצת רוגע ושלווה במריחת לק. לצערי בתקופה הזאת של השנה ממש אין לי זמן לניילארט, וזה גם קצת בעייתי בגלל העבודה, אז אני מסתפקת במריחת לקים במרקמים מעניינים עם טאצ' קטן של ניילארט לקראת הסופ"ש.

היום בבלוג מתארחים שני הלקים החדשים שיצאו לכבוד פורים במותג הלקים הצעיר FedoraHarp*. למי שלא מכירה, מדובר במותג אינדי ישראלי. כלומר לקים שמיוצרים ונמכרים ע"י בחורה ישראלית באופן עצמאי, ולא דרך החניות והרשתות הגדולות.

מותגי אינדי הם לא תגלית חדשה, וכבר קיימים די הרבה זמן בעולם הלקים, אבל אין הרבה מותגים ישראלים כאלה ותמיד נחמד לתמוך בעסקים מקומיים.
העובדה שהלקים מיוצרים בישראל מגניבה במיוחד, כי לאה מקפידה להוציא קולקציות מיוחדות לכבוד החגים והמועדים שלנו. למה שרק הבנות מעבר לים ייהנו מקולקציות מיוחדות לכבוד חג המולד ו4th of July?.... גם לנו מגיע לקים מיוחדים משלנו :)

בזמן האחרון אנחנו מוצפים בקולקציות חג המולד שיצאו אצל חברות הלק הבינלאומיות. לא הגיע הזמן שגם לנו תהיה איזו קולקציית חנוכה?!?
לאה מהבלוג FedoraHarp החליטה להרים את הכפפה ויצרה קולקציית לקים חגיגית בהשראת החג!
למותג האינדי החדש שלה קוראים FedoraHarp Lacquer, בדיוק כמו שם הבלוג, והיא מוכרת את הלקים שלה דרך האתר Etsy.

קולקציית חנוכה של המותג מורכבת משישה לקים, ארבעה גליטרים שמיועדים למריחה מעל לק אחר ועוד שני לקים שניתן למרוח בפני עצמם. כל אחד מהם קשור לסימן אחר של החג.

Ga-de White Swan & Polish Me Silly Clowning Around

Last post of my Ga-de week!

White Swan is the final Ga-de nail polish I got at my recent haul, and after the cute orange and the amazing blue, I must say this one was a little dissapinting for me. Not because I don't like it, but because I was hoping for it to be a dupe to OPI Ski Slope Sweetie and it wasn't. It's still a nice shimmery white, but it's just not what I was looking for. It looks pearly in my photos but it's not, it is a simple shimmer. I don't remember how many coats this was, 2 or 3, but I do remember it's quite sheer.

On top of that, I added 2 coats Clowning Around by Polish Me Silly. Something didn't feel right so I mattifid the whole thing using OPI Matte Topcoat and then it was perfect to me... This lasted a pretty long time too...

פוסט אחרון בשבוע ג'ייד!

White Swan הוא הלק האחרון של ג'ייד שקניתי בקנייה הגדולה שלי, ולעומת הכתום החמוד והכחול המהמם, אני חייבת להגיד שהלק הזה קצת איכזב אותי. לא כי הוא לא יפה, אלא בגלל שקיוויתי שהוא יהיה דיופ לOPI Ski Slope Sweetie והוא לא היה. הוא עדיין לק שימרי חמוד, אבל זה פשוט לא מה שחיפשתי. הוא נראה בעל גימור פנינתי בתמונות שלי, אבל הוא יותר שימרי במציאות. אני לא זוכרת כמה שכבות יש לי בתמונה, 2 או 3, אבל אני כן זוכרת שהלק הזה יחסית שקוף.

מעליו הוספתי שתי שכבות של הגליטר המהמם Clowning Around של חברת האינדי Polish Me Silly. משהו לא לגמרי הרגיש לי נכון, אז החלטתי להוסיף גימור מאט בעזרת OPI Matte Topcoat ואז הייתי שמחה עם המראה... זה גם החזיק עליי למשך די הרבה זמן...

The Lacquer Legion - Reinvention: Galaxy Nails - The Easy Way

So there is this new exciting thing going no the nail blogsphere... It's called The Lacquer Legion and it's basically a monthly nail art challenge with a little twist. It's not as intense as The 31 Day Challenge, but you're supposed to come up with a cool original idea that'll go with the monthly theme picked by the talented Sarah of Chalkboard Nails, Sammy The Nailasaurus, Rebecca from Rebecca Likes Nails, and Leslie from Work/Play/Polish.

I don't know if I'll be doing this each month, but I do like a good challenge every once in a while and I happened to have an idea for the first one so I went with it. The theme for the first Challenge is reinvention. Some of the girls actually invented new nailart techniques but I didn't go so far.

I remembered it's been a long time since I used one of my favorite colors: Essie - No More Film, and I wanted to pair it up with a pretty glitter. I spotted GlitterBunny - I Got a Goodie Bag and knew these two were meant to be. Applying Goodie Bag over a dark color is just like having a galaxy manicure, minus the hassle... It's filled with square neon glitters and tiny holographic scattered glitter, such a beautiful combo! I used one coat of Goodie Bag and one coat of Poshe top coat.

משהו מרגש קורה בבלוגספירת הלקים... קוראים לזה  The Lacquer Legion, ומדובר באתגר ציפורניים חודשי עם טוויסט קטן. הוא לא אינטנסיבי כמו אתגר 31 הימים, כי צריך ליצור רק עיצוב אחד בחודש, אבל האתגר הרציני כאן הוא לחשוב על עיצוב מקורי שיתאים לרעיון שבחרו הבנות המוכשרות מהבלוגים Chalkboard Nails, The Nailasaurus, Rebecca Likes Nails וWork/Play/Polish.

אני לא יודעת אם אני אשתתף בכל חודש, אבל אני בהחלט אוהבת אתגר טוב מדי פעם, והפעם היה לי רעיון אז החלטתי להצטרף. הנושא לאתגר הראשון היה reinvention (המצאה מחדש). יש בנות שממש המציאו טכניקות חדשות או שיכללו טכניקות קיימות, אבל אני לא הלכתי כל כך רחוק.

נזכרתי שעבר המון זמן מאז שהשתמשתי באחד הלקים האהובים עליי: No More Film של אסי, ורציתי לצרף לו גליטר יפה. ראיתי במגירה את  GlitterBunny - I Got a Goodie Bag וידעתי ששני אלה נועדו להיות יחד. כשמורחים את גודי בג מעל לק כהה, מתקבל מניקור גלקסייה מהמם, בלי כל העבודה... הלק מורכב מגליטרים מרובעים ניאוניים וחלקיקים הולוגרפיים קטנים, איזה שילוב יפה! מרחתי שכבה אחת מהגליטר והוספתי שכבה של המייבש האהוב עליי, פושה. 

I wanted to show you some swatches of No More Film 'cause I really really love it even without adding anything! This is 2 coats, no top. It dries super quickly and shiny. 

I also took a close up picture of the bottle so you'll see how perfect it is. For those of you who don't know GlitterBunny - it's an Israeli based vegan indie nail polish brand that ships worldwide.

רציתי לחלוק כמה תמונות של No More Film כי אני ממש אוהבת אותו, גם בלי שום תוספות. הוא מצולם כאן בשתי שכבות, ללא טופ. הוא מתייבש מהר מאוד, עם הרבה ברק. 

צילמתי גם תמונת קלוז אפ של הגליטר בבקבוק, שתראו כמה הוא מושלם. למי שעוד לא מכירה, GlitterBunny הוא מותג לקים טבעוני שמיוצר כאן בארץ ע"י בחורה מקסימה ויצירתית בשם ניקול. 

Polish Me Silly Freckles over Sinful Colors Cinderella

I started this week with Sinful Colors Cinderella. It's such a beautiful color, but a crappy formula. I knew that when I bought it and I didn't care because it really is very pretty. This is 3 thick coats.

התחלתי את השבוע עם Sinful Colors Cinderella. זה צבע כל כך יפה, אבל הפורמולה נוראית. ידעתי את זה כשקניתי אותו וזה לא הפריע לי כי מאוד התלהבתי מהצבע. הוא דורש 3 שכבות לאטימות.

 

After wearing it for two days I got the most awesome nailmail from Polish Me Silly (formerly known as Lush Lacquer). I orderd two of my biggest lemmings: Freckles and Clowning Around. I've been wanting them for so long but they are pretty expensive. I finally decided to buy them as a treat to myself before my exams started, and I'm so happy I did! They are stunning!

אחרי שהייתי איתו במשך יומיים קיבלתי חבילה מרגשת במיוחד מPolish Me Silly (לשעבר Lush Lacquer). הזמנתי שניים מהלקים שהכי רציתי בעולם:  Freckles וClowning Around. רציתי אותם במשך המון זמן אבל תמיד הרגשתי שהם יקרים מדי. בסוף החלטתי לקנות אותם כדי לפנק את עצמי לקראת תקופת המבחנים שמתחילה ממש בקרוב ואני כל כך שמחה שעשיתי את זה כי הם מדהימים!

I had to try Freckles right away so I just swatched  it over Cinderella and it actually turned out to be a pretty nice combo so I kept it for a few more days.

הייתי חייבת לנסות את Freckles מיד, אז פשוט מרחתי שכבה אחת ממנו מעל הלק שכבר היה עליי, וזה נראה כל כך יפה שפשוט השארתי את העיצוב עליי במשך כמה ימים.

GlitterBunny Be the change you wish to see in the world - Swatches & Review

This is the third and last polish I got from GlitterBunny on the Black Friday sale. This nail polish has a veryyyyy long name. It's called "Be the change you wish to see in the world" and it's inspired by the Vegan Friendly logo. 

זה הלק השלישי והאחרון שקניתי במכירת הבלק פריידי של גליטר באני. ללק הזה יש שם מאוד מאוד ארוך. קוראים לו "Be the change you wish to see in the world"  ("היה השינוי שאתה מייחל לראות בעולם") וההשראה ללק הזה הגיעה מהלוגו של ארגון ויגן פרינדלי. 

I first saw this polish at Natalie's blog, and after that I saw two more swatches over at Jorden's blog (here and here). I immediately fell in love with the blue flakies. They completely transform the look of this polish, depending on the base color you choose. I first tried it over a light purple (Essie Lilacism) but I didn't really like the result, so a few weeks later I tried it again, this time over a white base.

הפעם הראשונה שראיתי את הלק הזה הייתה בבלוג של נטלי, ולאחר מכן ראיתי עוד 2 סווצ'ים שלו בבלוג של ירדן (כאן וכאן). מיד התאהבתי בפלייקיז הכחולים. הם לחלוטין משנים את המראה של הלק הזה, והוא נראה שונה לגמרי מעל צבעי בסיס שונים. בהתחלה ניסיתי אותו עם צבע סגול בהיר (Essie Lilacism) ופחות אהבתי את התוצאה. כמה שבועות לאחר מכן ניסיתי אותו שוב, הפעם על בסיס לבן.

Unfortunately the flakies were very hard to catch on camera, but it looked really pretty in real life.

לצערי היה קשה לתפוס את הפלייקיז במצלמה, אבל הם נראו מקסים במציאות.

GlitterBunny It's a... Dinglehopper! - Swatches, Review & Nailart

 A few weeks ago I visited the lovely Nicole, creator of GlitterBunny polishes. We're sorta neighbors but we never met before, so it was cool to finally get together. I bought 2 polishes from her (I showed you the first one, Rainbow Sprinkles on my previews post) and she also gave me this cute mini version of It's a... Dinglehopper! from The Little Mermaid collection as a gift. I never would have thought to buy it myself because it's so much prettier in real life than it is in pictures. I had no idea it was so beautiful. It's got an amazing depth, and it's completely opaque in two easy coats. Perfection!

לפני כמה שבועות ביקרתי את ניקול המקסימה, היוצרת של מותג הלקים גליטר באני. אנחנו סוג של שכנות, אבל מעולם לא נפגשנו קודם, והיה ממש נחמד להיפגש סופסוף אחרי היכרות וירטואלית ארוכה :)

קניתי ממנה שני לקים (את הראשון, Rainbow Sprinkles, הראיתי בפוסט הקודם שלי) והיא גם הוסיפה לי מתנה - גירסא מוקטנת של הלק It's a... Dinglehopper! מקולקציית בת הים הקטנה. לא הייתי חושבת לקנות אותו לעצמי כי בתמונות קשה לראות עד כמה הוא יפה במציאות. יש בו עומק מדהים, והוא לגמרי אטום בשתי שכבות קלילות. שלמות!

 I decided to add a stamp, because I love how stamped images look over a squeshy glittery polish. I used BK Matte White to stamp this cute image from Bundle Monster 411. 

 החלטתי להוסיף חותמת, כי אני ממש אוהבת להחתים מעל לק גליטרי "עמוק" שכזה. השתמשתי בBK Matte White כדי להחתים את התמונה החמודה הזו מBundle Monster 411.

Winter Skittle Manicure

I started this manicure with 2 coats of Essie Sand Tropez on my thumb, pointer & pinkie. On my middle and ring fingers I applied 2 coats of WOW 437. Then I used the sweater stamp from Bundle Monster 423, with Essie Skirting The Issue. It's a small stamp, but I wanted to create a messy sweater look so I stamped it several times on every nail.

התחלתי את העיצוב הזה עם 2 שכבות של Essie Sand Tropez על האגודל, האצבע והזרת. על האמה והקמיצה מרחתי 2 שכבות של וואו מס' 437. לאחר מכן השתמשתי בחותמת הסוודר מBundle Monster 423, עם Essie Skirting The Issue. זו חותמת קטנה, אבל רציתי ליצור דוגמת סוודר מבולגנת, אז החתמתי את אותה תמונה כמה פעמים על כל ציפורן.

After I was done I felt like adding something, so I used a sponge to create a glitter gradient with GlitterBunny Rainbow Sprinkles on my thumb and pinkie. 

Finally I stamped this cute holly image from Bundle Monster 302 with Ga-de Emerald and Essie Too Too Hot. I used a dotting tool to fill it in, painted the white stripes with a white striper polish. and added some polka dots with China Glaze Passion.

אחרי שסיימתי הרגשתי שחסר לי עוד משהו, אז השתמשתי בספוג כדי ליצור גרדיאנט בעזרת הגליטר Rainbow Sprinkles של GlitterBunny על האגודל והזרת. 

לסיום, החתמתי את הצמח הכריסמסי הזה מBundle Monster 302 עם Ga-de Emerald ועם Essie Too Too Hot. השתמשתי במנקד ובאותם הלקים כדי למלא את הדוגמא החלולה, הוספתי קצת פרטים בעזרת לק מנקד לבן, וסיימתי עם נקודות זהובות בעזרת China Glaze Passion.

Delicate Egyptian Stamping with Cadillaquer Blowfish

Last week I got a few beautiful nail polishes from the lovely Natalie (aka Nailz Craze).

בשבוע שעבר קיבלתי את משלוח הלקים שלי מנטלי המקסימה (בעלת הבלוג Nailz Craze).

 The first polish I wanted to try was Cadillaquer Blowfish. It's a beautiful shimmery light green (almost grey), with iridescent pieces of pink and blue glitter. I applied 3 coats of this (although it was almost perfect after two, but I wanted to make sure I didn't have any bald spots). 

I added a beautiful Egyptian stamp from Bundle Monster 405 using Wow #393. This manicure lasted for sooo long and was actually pretty hard to remove. I'd defiantly wear this polish again on my super busy weeks, when I don't have time to do my nails.

הלק הראשון שבחרתי להשתמש בו היה Blowfish של מותג האינדי Cadillaquer. זה צבע ירוק בהיר מאוד (כמעט אפור), עם נצנוץ ורדרד וכחול. מרחתי 3 שכבות מהלק הזה (למרות שכבר אחרי השכבה השנייה הוא היה יחסית אטום, אבל רציתי לוודא שלא נשארות לי "קרחות" על הציפורן). 

הוספתי את החותמת המצרית היפהפייה הזו מBundle Monster בעזרת הלק השחור המושלם של וואו (מס' 393). העיצוב הזה נשאר עליי המווון זמן, והיה לי די קשה להסיר אותו. נראה לי שאני בהחלט אשתמש בלק הזה בתקופות הלחוצות, כשלא יהיה לי זמן להחליף לק בתדירות גבוהה.

NOTD With Essie & Glitter Bunny

Today I'm wearing my very first Essie - Tour De Finance, and on top of it I applied one coat of the amazing GlitterBunny - YO! Mamas!

I have a lot of pink polishes but I'm actually not a big fan of this color on my nails. Still, as I was organizing my swatch sticks this shimmery bright fuchsia color stood up and I felt like trying it on again.

 Funny story about this color - I have it in my stash for over a year and I was certain that it was called  Tour De Fiancé (as in finding a husband). I just learned the actual name a few days ago, and I must say I think my version of it is way better! Who would wear a bright fuchsia to go work in a bank? I think it's much more reasonable to wear it on a date :-P

Anyways, the pink polish was kind of boring on its own so I decided to add the cute glitter on top of it.

For those of you who aren't familiar with this indie brand - GlitterBunny is an Israeli vegan nail polish brand, that was founded by the lovely Nicole. You can find them on Facebook and in the online store. Nicole ships internationally and the shipping cost is quite low (since it is calculated by package and not by bottle)). Shipping to Israel is even cheap then that and it arrives really fast.

היום אני עם האסי הראשון שלי -  Tour De Finance, ומעליו מרחתי שכבה אחת של GlitterBunny - YO! Mamas! 

יש לי המון לקים ורודים באוסף, אבל האמת היא שאני לא כל כך אוהבת את הצבע הזה על הציפורניים שלי. ובכל זאת, כשאירגנתי השבוע את אוסף הswatch sticks שלי, הפוקסיה המנצנץ הזה בלט לי יותר מכולם, והחלטתי לנסות אותו שוב. 

סיפור מצחיק - יש לי את הלק הזה כבר למעלה משנה והייתי ממש בטוחה שקוראים לו  Tour De Fiancé (יענו, "מירוץ לחיפוש בעל"). רק עכשיו כשאירגנתי את האוסף למדתי את השם האמיתי של הלק, ואני חייבת לציין שאני מעדיפה יותר את השם שלי! מי תמרח לק ורוד פוקסיה כדי לעבוד בבנק? הרבה יותר סביר להיות עם לק כזה בדייט :-P

בכל מקרה, הורוד הזה היה קצת משעמם לבדו, אז הוספתי לו את הגליטר החמוד.

למי מכן שעדיין לא מכירה - גליטר באני הוא מותג אינדי טבעוני שהוקם ממש כאן, בישראל, ע"י ניקול המקסימה. אפשר למצוא אותם בפייסבוק ובחנות המקוונת. ניקול שולחת לכל העולם והמשלוח לישראל זול ומהיר במיוחד. הלקים עצמם לא זולים במיוחד (כמו כל הלקים מתוצרת אינדי), אבל הם מאוד מיוחדים, ומדי פעם יש מבצעים אז שווה להתעדכן דרך הפייסבוק אם אתן מהססות.
