New From OPI: Coca Cola & Neon Collections

לפני כחודש עידכנתי אתכן בפינת חדשות עולם הלקים על שתי קולקציות חדשות של OPI שהגיעו לאחרונה לארץ, והיום יש לי סווצ'ים לשני נציגים מהקולקציות האלה...

נתחיל עם My Car Has Navy-gation* מקולקציית הניאוניים. מדובר בכחול נייבי בגימור creally (חצי קרם-חצי ג'לי) שמתייבש קצת פלסטיקי, ולכן דורש תוספת טופ מבריק. האמת שהצבע לא כל כך ניאוני, אבל הוא מהמם ובוהק, ומתאים בהחלט לקיץ.

מצולם כאן בשתי שכבות, ללא טופ:

 כשהסתכלתי עליו ממבט ראשון חשבתי שהוא יהיה דיופ ללק Sapphire Blue של ג'ייד והם אכן דומים מאוד, אבל לא דיופים מדוייקים. הלק של ג'ייד קצת יותר מבריק ופחות אטום לעומת זה של OPI שמגיע לאטימות מלאה בשתי שכבות. בתמונות לא ממש רואים הבדל והם נראים די זהים, אבל במציאות הלק של OPI בגוון יותר קר והלק של ג'ייד בגוון חם יותר, עם נגיעה של צהבהבות.

הלק You're So Vain-illa* מקולקציית קוקה-קולה של OPI הוא אחד מהלקים שכבר יצאו בשנה שעברה וחזרו השנה בהוצאה מחודשת. הלק בגוון ניוד צהבהב ויש לו פורמולה מצויינת. כשראיתי אותו בבקבוק חשבתי שהוא יהיה מכוער עליי בגלל הגוון הצהבהב שלו, אבל אחרי שמרחתי אותו דווקא ממש התלהבתי מכמה שהוא יפה ועדין.

ממש התלהבתי מהלק הזה והחלטתי ליצור בעזרתו שני עיצובי ניילארט:

לעיצוב הראשון מרחתי שתי שכבות מהלק והדבקתי מעט קריסטלים על הקמיצה והאגודל, לסיום מרחתי שכבה של טופ מבריק.

את העיצוב השני יצרתי בשיטת "אבן השיש" בעזרת הלק של OPI והלק Creamy Pistachio של Milani. על האצבע המורדת מרחתי את Sands of Time של L.A Girl.

31DC2013 - Day 13: Glossy Leopard Print With A Touch of Texture

So today's theme is animal print and I'm pretty sure most of the participants are going to do leopard print nails but I don't mind. This is such a pretty look and it's been a long time since I last wore it on my nails so this is a great opportunity.

I decided to combine regular nail polishes with textured polishes and this is what I came up with.

For my glossy nails I went with a base of China Glaze Something Sweet. The spots were made using A-England Holy Grail and I framed them using Maybelline Mini Colorama #52 Dark Plum.

For the textured accent nail I started with a base of Chic 12 - a cute baby pink from the new Sugar Baby collection, that has the slightest blue shimmer in it. I bought it because I've been looking for a dupe to the beautiful Kiko 634 so I was a little disappointed when I first swatched it and saw it had the shimmer, but on the nail the shimmer is barely noticeable and the color is perfect!

I used L.A Girl Sand of Time for my spots, and framed them with Chic 04.

Some Recent Manicures

2 coats of Milani White On The Spot, Stamped with Bundle Monster 315 and China Glaze Awaken.

1 coat of China Glaze Passion and 1 coat of Essie Too Too Hot.

2 coats of Pupa Milano holographic #031, Light Green from this post, the glitter gradient is with Ciate London Baby, and the accent finger is 2 coats of Ciate Locket.

3 coats of butter LONDON Lady Muck, dotted with Ga-de Emerald, Ga-de Lemon Lime, and Revlon Surf + matte topcoat. 2 Accent nails with 2 coats of L.A Girl Sands of Time.

2 coats of butter LONDON Trout Pout. This color is really hard to photograph and my pictures aren't very accurate. The first 2 pictures are indoors and the next 2 pictures are outside, in the sun. Vampy Varnish has a really good swatch of this color

After wearing this gorgeous color for 1 day I decided to add a stamp from Bundle Monster 316 using China Glaze Passion.
