China Glaze City Flourish Collection - Swatches & Review

היום יש לי סווצ'ים לשמונה לקים מקולקציית City Flourish (העיר הפורחת) של צ'יינה גלייז. לא קניתי את כל 12 הלקים של הקולקצייה האביבית הזו, אלא רק את הלקים היפים ביותר בעיניי.

לפני שאפרט על כל לק בנפרד, יש כמה נקודות שרלוונטיו לכל הלקים ולכן אציין אותן מראש:

1. כל הסווצ'ים מצולמים בתוספת שכבה של לק טופ מבריק, מכיוון שהלקים בקולקצייה הזו לא מספיק מבריקים כשהם מתייבשים. 

2. התמונה הראשונה של כל לק היא בתאורה מלאכותית בתוך הבית והתמונה השנייה צולמה באור שמש טבעי. יש לי גם כה תמונות השוואה בין חלק מהלקים האלה ללקים דומים להם שיש לי באוסף, אני מקווה שזה יעזור לכם.

3. לפני הזמנתי את הלקים האלה קראתי כמה ביקורות מאוד לא מחמיאות על הפורמולה הנוראית שלהם, אבל החלטתי להזמין אותם בכל זאת כי הצבעים פשוט מהממים. אני מתה על לקים בצבעי פסטל ואף פעם לא אסרב לצרף לק פסטלי לאוסף שלי :)

אני כל כך שמחה שהזמנתי אותם, כי בעיניי הפורמולה בסדר גמור. נכון שהם לא מושלמים בשכבה אחת, אבל ברובם הספיקו לי שתי שכבות ולא הרגשתי שאני מסתבכת עם המריחה. אני בהחלט ממליצה לכם לשקול לקנות את הקולקצייה הזו אם אתן בעניין של צבעי פסטל כמוני!

Hi everybody!

Today I have swatches for 8 of the nail polishes from China Glaze's City Flourish collection. I didn't buy the entire collection, that consists of 12 spring appropriate colors, I just got the ones I thought were the prettiest colors. 

Before I'll specify about each of the polishes, there are some points that are relevant about all of the colors in this collection, so I'll point these out first:

1. All swatches were done with an addition of top coat, because most of these nail polishes aren't shiny enough on their own.

2. The first swatch of each polish is in artificial lightning indoors and the second one was taken in the sun. I also have some comparison shots for some of the colors so I hope you'll find that useful.

3. Before ordering these nail polishes I've read some pretty nasty reviews about how awful the formula is, but I decided to get them anyways because the colors are so gorgeous. I love me some pastel nail polish and can never get enough :)

I'm so happy I did get these because I found the formula to be just fine. I know they are not perfect one coaters, but I got away with 2 coats for most of them and didn't feel like I was struggling with the application. I definitely recommend you check these out if you're in to pastels as much as I am!

הראשון בחבורה הוא China Glaze At Vase Value. מדובר בלק קרמי בגוון מנטה שנוטה יותר לכיוון כחול (בהמשך תראו השוואה בינוי לכמה לקים אחרים בצבע מנטה שיש לי באוסף). הוא די בוהק (אבל לא ניאוני) ומעניק כיסוי מושלם בשתי שכבות.

הפורמולה שלו הייתה די דלילה, אבל לא נוזלית מדי, והוא לא הציף את העור שמסביב לציפורניים בעת המריחה. הוא לא מתייבש גלוסי במיוחד, אז חובה להוסיף לו טופ מבריק (זה משהו שרלוונטי לגבי כל הלקים בקולקצייה).

הוא מצולם כאן בשתי שכבות + טופ מבריק.

First of the bunch is China Glaze At Vase Value. This is a beautiful mint cream nail polish that leans a little more towards blue (I have a comparison picture to some of my other mints). It is pretty bright (though it's not a neon) an is applied perfectly in 2 coats.

The formula is thin but not to runny and it doesn't flood the cuticles. It doesn't dry very glossy so a shiny top coat is a must (same rule applies for the rest of the nail polishes in this collection).

This is 2 coats + top coat.

עשיתי השוואה בינו לבין כמה מהלקים האחרים שלי. כל הלקים צולמו בתוספת טופ מבריק.

• Blue Wish של ג'ייד (מס' 392) הוא לק בצבע תכלת "נקי". ממש לא דומה ללקים האחרים שמרחתי כאן לצורך ההשוואה. הוא דורש 3 שכבות לאטימות מלאה, אבל אני חייבת לסייג ולומר שהבקבוק שלי מאוד ישן והלק כמעט נגמר. יכול להיות שאם תקנו בקבוק חדש שתי שכבות יספיקו לכיסוי מושלם. 
• China Glaze At Vase Value - צבע מנטה בוהק עם תת גוון כחול. מצולם כאן בשתי שכבות. 
• Essie Mint Candy Apple - הלק הזה של אסי הוא ככל הנראה לק המנטה הכי מפורסם בבלוגספירת הלקים. בהשוואה ללק של צ'יינה גלייז הוא נראה מעט "מאובק", ויש לו תת גוון ירוק. מצולם בשתי שכבות.
• Kiko 389 Mint Milk - הירוק ביותר בחבורה, ובוהק ביותר מכולם. הוא לא ניאוני, אבל הוא כמעט כמעט עונה להגדרה של לק ניאון. 

כפי שניתן לראות בתמונה, אין כאן שני לקים זהים. הלק של אסי הוא הדומה ביותר לזה של צ'יינה, אבל יש ביניהם הבדל ברמת תת הגוון (ירוק לעומת כחול) והגימור (מאובק לעומת בוהק). 

I did a comparison with some of my mint and light blue polishes. All polishes are pictured with top coat.

• Ga-de Blue Wish 392 - A very "clean" light blue color. Not at all similar to the mint polishes on the other fingers. Needs 3 coats for opacity (but my bottle is really old and the formula got thick and gloopy, perhaps if you get a new bottle 2 coats will be enough)
• China Glaze At Vase Value - Vibrant mint color, has a blue undertone. Pictured in 2 coats. 
• Essie Mint Candy Apple - Probably the most famous mint nail polish in the blog-sphere. Dusty mint color, has a green undertone. Pictured in 2 coats. 
• Kiko 389 Mint Milk - The greenest of the bunch and the most vibrant. Not a neon, but it's pretty damn close. 

As you can see, there are no dupes here. Mint Candy Apple is the most similar one, but At Vase Value is more blue, and has a more vibrant finish. 

China Glaze Grass Is Lime Greener הוא צבע פסטלי ניאוני יפהפה, האהוב עליי ביותר מהקולקציה! יש לו פורמולה דומה ללק הקודם, אבל הוא דורש 3 שכבות (או 2 שכבות עבות). הלק הזה מתייבש בגימור מאט/פלסטיק מוזר, ולכן, שוב, חובה למרוח מעלין טופ מבריק. 

China Glaze Grass Is Lime Greener is a beautiful pastel neon lime green color, and my favorite color from this collection. It has the same formula as the previous polish, but it requires 3 coats (or 2 thick ones). This nail polish dries to a weird plastic finish so, again, a topcoat is a must.  

China Glaze In A Lily Bit הוא צבע לבנדר מתוק, שנמצא איפשהו על הגבול בין ורוד לסגול. יש לו תת גוון קר עם בסיס כחול. אותה פורמולה כמו הלקים הקודמים, 2 שכבות + טופ מבריק. 

China Glaze In A Lily Bit is a sweet lavender color, somewhere on the verge of pink and purple. It is cool toned with a blue under tone. Same formula as the other polishes, 2 coats + top coat. 

China Glaze Lotus Begin הוא סגול לבנדר בוהק, כהה יותר מIn A Lily Bit ובעל תת גוון ורוד. 2 שכבות + טופ מבריק. 

China Glaze Lotus Begin is a Vibrant purple lavender, darker than In A Lily Bit and with a pink under tone. This is 2 coats + top coat. 

China Glaze Spring In My Step הוא עוד אחד מהפייבוריטים שלי בקולקציה הזו. הצבע שלו הוא ורוד בהיר עם נגיעה של אפרסק וקורל, שמשזף מיידית את העור שלי ומחמיא לו מאוד. פורמולה זהה ללקים הקודמים. 3 שכבות + טופ מבריק.

China Glaze Spring In My Step is another favorite of mine from the collection. It is a light peach / coral / pink color that immediately makes you look tanned. Again, same formula as the previous polishes. This one requires 3 coats + topcoat. 

Peonies & Park Ave הוא ורוד ניאוני עם תת גוון קר, וזה הלק הניאוני הראשון שאהבתי לראות על הידיים שלי! תמיד חשבתי שלק ניאון הוא לא בשבילי, אב מסתבר שרק הייתי צריכה לנסות לק בתת גוון קר במקום הלקים עם הגוון החם שניסיתי עד כה. ההבדל כל כך משמעותי ואני מאוהבת בצבע הזה!!! מצולם כאן ב2-3 שכבות + טופ מבריק. 

China Glaze Peonies & Park Ave is a neon pink with a cool undertone, and is the first neon nail polish I actually liked on myself! I always though that neon nail polishes are not for me, but apparently all I needed to do was get a cool toned neon instead of a warm toned one, Et voilà! I'm absolutely in love with this color!!! This is 2-3 coats+topcoat. 

עשיתי השוואה בין הלק הזה לבין לק ניאון עם תת גוון חם (Shocking Pink של המותג New מבית ניו פארם). שני הצבעים קצת קשים לצילום (כמו כל הלקים הניאוניים), אבל אפשר לראות בירור את ההבדל.

Here is a comparison I did with a warm toned pink (New by New Pharm in Shocking Pink). Both colors wee a little hard to photograph (as all neons are), but you can clearly see the difference.

שני הלקים האחרונים בפוסט שונים מששת הלקים הראשונים שהראיתי. הפורמולה שלהם מעט שונה, וגם קשה מאוד לצלם אותם בצורה נאמנה למציאות.

The last 2 polishes I'm going to show you don't have he same formula as the previous 6. These 2 were also the hardest to capture on my camera and the colors are not very accurate to how they look in real life, so sorry about that.

China Glaze Metro Pollen-tin הוא צהוב / כתום / חרדל שממש לא דומה לסווצ'ים שלו שראיתי באינטרנט לפני הקנייה. יש לו פורמולה סמיכה יותר והוא מתייבש מאט / פלסטיק. זה הלק היחיד בקולקצייה שאיכזב אותי. הוא לא מחמיא לי ואני לא חושבת שארצה להשתמש בו אי פעם כמניקור מלא על כל האצבעות. אני כן בטוחה שייצא לי להשתמש בו לניילארט, אז זה לא היה ביזבוז מוחלט של הכסף שלי... 2 שכבות + טופ מבריק.

China Glaze Metro Pollen-tin is a yellow / orange / mustard color that looks nothing like the swatches I saw online before ordering it. It has a thicker formula and it dries matte / plastic. This is the only polish that I felt disappointed about. It doesn't look nice against my skin tone and I can't see myself wearing it as a full manicure. I will defiantly use it for nail art though, so it wasn't a complete waist of money... This is 2 coats  + topcoat.

לבסוף, China Glaze Petal To The Metal הוא ניאון קורלי. יש לו פורמולה סמיכה וגם הוא מתייבש מאט / פלסטיק. זה הלק שהיה הקשה ביותר לצילום, והתמונות שלי לא ממש משקפות אותו כפי שהוא. 2 שכבות + טופ מבריק.

Finally, China Glaze Petal To The Metal is a neon coral. It has a thick formula and it  it dries matte / plastic. This was the hardest polish to photograph and my swatches don't do it justice. 2 coats + topcoat. 

ערכתי השוואה של הלק הזה יחד עם עוד שני לקים קורליים בפוסט הקודם שלי. 

butter LONDON Trout Pout ואנני Upper East Side Chick הם כמעט דיופים, אבל הם לא בדיוק זהים: הלק של אנני טיפה יותר כתום והלק של BL יותר ורדרד.
מכיוון שהוא ניאוני, China Glaze Petal To The Metal הרבה יותר בוהק מהשניים האחרים, כך שהוא ממש לא נחשב דיופ.
עוד הבדל ביניהם הוא שהלק של אנני הרבה יותר מבריק מהשניים האחרים.

I have a comparison of this polish that I also featured in my previous post. 

butter LONDON Trout Pout and ANNY Upper Ease Side Chick are almost dupes, but not exactly: ANNY is a bit more orange and BL is more pink.
Being a neon color, China Glaze Petal To The Metal is much brighter than these two and is definitely not a dupe.
Another difference is that ANNY has the glossiest finish, the other two are a bit more flat.

הקולקצייה הזו לא תגיע לארץ ואני רכשתי אותה אונליין. באתר צ'רי קולצ'ר קניתי סט של שישייה + לק בודד, והשלמתי את הלק האחרון שלא היה במלאי אצל המוכרת ביוטיזון באיביי.

הקנייה בcherry culture משתלמת רק בהזמנות גדולות יחסית, כי דמי המשלוח לא זולים. ברגע שמזמינים 6-10 לקים המחיר פר לק נהיה סביר יותר. מומלץ גם לחכות למבצעים של האתר הזה. מדי פעם הפם מפרסמים קוד הנחה (ההנחות נעות בין 10%-40%) - אבל קחו בחשבון שלא תמיד כל הלקים נמצאים במלאי, וכשיש מבצע הם אוזלים מהמלאי עוד יותר מהר.

גם אצל ביוטיזון מומלץ לאחד הזמנות של כמה לקים כדי לחסוך בעלויות המשלוח, אבל גם אם מזמינים לק בודד המחיר יוצא סביר יחסית.
